I wanted to let you know that I found it difficult listening to the podcast due to the poor sound recording. There's a constant echo and hum for one of the speakers. Could this be addressed for future episodes?

Thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately I am not sure what can be done. The recording is done live by Google hangouts, so the quality of the audio sometimes fluctuate depending on the available bandwidth and CPU resources.

As for hums, that is mainly a consequence of the speakers not being native speakers, so they do need to do simultaneous translation in their minds to express in English as they think in their native languages.

Oh, by "hum", I didn't mean the spoken "hmmm" as they were thinking about a translation. I was referring to a constant background noise coming from at least one of the speakers audio. If that person could use a quality headset, that would probably resolve this hum plus the echo sound. I only mention this because I was able to finish listening to the podcast due to the poor sound quality. I greatly appreciate that everyone did the best that they could. :)

That can be caused by the fact that sometimes Google Hangouts refuses to work with certain Webcams, so I needed to switch to a different computer at the last minute.

The fan becomes too noisy because Google Hangouts take a lot of CPU when capturing from the Webcam. I am not sure why, but it is hard to control that.

Lets see if it gets better next month. Thanks for the feedback anyway.
